How to Connect Anki to Subtitle Hero
Connecting Anki to Subtitle Hero only takes a couple of steps.
- First you need to install the desktop version of Anki to your computer.
- Then you need to install Anki Connect
- Once Anki Connect is installed you can then open the settings panel in Subtitle Hero and you should see an option to setup Anki. Once you click on this button it will do create a new deck called Subtitle Hero and new card type called Subtitle Hero Hanzi Question. DO NOT RENAME THE DECK OR CARD TYPE.
- Now you can save sentences to Anki by clicking on the Save Sentence button that is located below the subtitle area. Please wait for the audio to be generated before saving.
Anki Card Types
Currently Subtitle Hero only supports one card type Subtitle Hero Hanzi Question where it will show you the sentence with just the hanzi as the question and then the answer card will show you the pinyin/English and play the audio extracted from the video.
